YOU can make a difference with three clicks!

Friends- I really need your help!  We are closing in on the end of our campaign and we still have $4000 to raise in order to put a well into our little village in Uganda.  This well means so much to this community- it means clean healthy water, it means filling their Jerry cans with water in a safe spot- rather than traveling through jungle with unspeakable dangers to women and children.  And it means hope- for a brighter future for this community.  All I ask is that you visit our campaign and donate the price of a coffee- more if you wish.  But if everyone donated $5 we would be able to fulfill our goal and BUILD A WELL!  Please visit and donate!

I need your help!

Friends, I am SO EXCITED about this!  After months of planning and working to create what we KNOW will be an amazing place of learning, we have kicked off our Indiegogo campaign – Build Tusubira Village!!  Our goal is set to raise money for the well- the most important and most expensive part of the project.  A well will be life-changing on a day to day basis for this village.  Currently women and children walk up to 2 miles each way twice a day to collect water through dense jungle that is NOT SAFE.  There are no animals there- but there are other things that, as a mama, nearly kill me to think of.  So- a well is a MUST so that these kiddos can safely collect clean safe water.

However…  If we can raise more than we have set as our goal- WE WILL GET THIS VILLAGE UP AND RUNNING!  We have a complete plan that will offer the people of our community so much hope – a place that they can come and learn to grow nutritional food, learn skills and basic life changing ways of living day to day that will improve health and wellness.  It is the beginning of creating a better life for themselves and we simply want to show them how to do it.

So- what I would LOVE to ask you to do is to visit the campaign and then SPREAD THE WORD!  I am so grateful for any help getting this project all over social media in hopes of getting people to donate to changing the lives of this amazing community.  With this project, we are offering them a helping hand by which to improve their OWN lives, and to continue doing so for generations to come.  We can do this my friends- I truly believe that~

You can read more about this story here and here~
Thanks so much for any and all help you can provide and I can’t wait to share the progress with you!

An amazing yet simple way to support women in Uganda

Hello friends!

I wanted to share some exciting news.  I am working on building a non-profit organization based here in the states that will support education and empowerment to those who need it most.  You can learn a bit more about the program here:  the grow hope foundation  Our first partnership is with an organization in Uganda called SCHEP- Sustainable Community Health Education Program.  With them we hope to educate people in rural Uganda on the importance of hygiene, sanitation and nutrition.  We have already developed a pilot project that I am looking forward to going back and photographing this summer.  But I need your help.  The women in Uganda have been working hard hand making beads to then string into beautiful jewelry.  It is beautiful and I personally wear it all the time.  I have just stocked my shop- tiggy & grace - with so many gorgeous pieces.  ALL PROCEEDS will go directly to the women who made the jewelry, so that they can properly feed their children and send them to school.  It is such a small thing, buying a piece of jewelry, but it makes such an impact on the lives of these women and through them, their children.  Imagine if you could change the trajectory of a child's life by simply buying jewelry.  Oh the possibilities!

Thank you friends!
