summer picnic

Today we celebrated an 8th birthday. The weather was gorgeous, and we are spending our afternoon outside, having a picnic, squirting water guns, and playing in the sandbox.

It is on days such as these that I truly appreciate our gorgeous little farm. We have open space for us to play, lots of privacy, and sometimes it is so quiet and peaceful with only the singing of the birds and the sound of the breeze through the trees.

Enjoy this summer day my friends, whatever you may be doing~
bisous

Thanks for sharing your summertime sunshine, we were grey and cloudy for most of the day today over here.

I wish I were there - but I would be wearing a t-shirt as I don't do button ups anymore.

Well, the peonies, being my favourite flowers, had already got me. Then I went further up and saw the strawberries and watermelon - and the 'missing you' bells went into sunday morning service mode! THEN I read about you 'owning' what youd do and I thought THAT'S IT! Kim needs to come back over with the whole family for some wine and a chat. Orrrrr she has to invite me on a picnic with her boys. Wee parcel on it's way for mr birthday boy!!
I go through the owning it crisis quite regularly. You're well on your way to finding your niche. It will always be refined along the way too..
Pity we're separated by an ocean. xxx
