We had a visitor in the barn today - no one new, as she has visited before. We did realize today, however, that she most likely has babies somewhere close by. She didn't bring them along, but she is clearly nursing.
I'm not100 percent sure I love wild life visitors to my garden, but they are good photo subjects to write and blog about. This mornings visitors~~turkeys, mama deer and her two spotted young ones, quail, and who knows what else. I love you second photo. Cute!!! Thanks.
Okay Kimberly, I know they are supposed to be varmits...but come ON! How G-Darn Cute!
We've had them here in Snohomish and my elder neighbor Bill insists on doing a "Safe" catch and releasing them down by the river.
One year, I came home from my son's Band Concert at the High School and as our headlights hit the curb there were 4...mamma and 3 babies lined up atop each other in the headlights like a Totem pole! Well,,,I can't think of anything cuter!
Have a great weekend! Going to be a HOT one and I'm working with no AC.....Ackk!
She's cute but they sure do get vicious when they're protecting their young, or want to eat the rib bones in the trash. Careful now! XO Heidi - Heart and Home
What I like about Racoons is that not only do they behave like burglars, they even wear the classic burglar's mask, so that you cannot identify them in the line-up later!
The photo is so precious and then I totally laughed out loud and so hard the my feline princess came running to see what the ruckus was...and I am talking about Tom Stephenson's comment here: "What I like about Racoons is that not only do they behave like burglars, they even wear the classic burglar's mask, so that you cannot identify them in the line-up later!" OMG...Give that fellow the funny award today, please.
They are cute ... there is no doubt about it but oh my, can they wreck havoc with your home. They are one of the bravest animals alive. I've had raccoons just sashay into my home like they owned it heading to the cat's food dish. They have the power of focus. Meg
We live in downtown Snohomish and have them every night in our yard. Most recently Mama and her three babies. So,so cute! I learned the hard way not to feed them, but do love watching them.
Cute, cute, cute, but very annoying, aren't they? We watch ours take the lid off the garbage can....a lid secured with bungees. They just unhook the straps and help themselves. Charming.
always aspiring to run a fabulous home, raise the very best future husbands ever, and keep my marriage fresh and lively, i hope to find inspiration and to inspire with this blog. i love the potential for improvement each and every day!

I had one of these creatures as a pet when my parents lived on a lake in CT..very intelligent animals..
What awesome pictures! Hubby and I were just discussing the visitor (gopher) that is visiting and tearing up his new grass.

So cute but so "such a problem", watch your chickens, cats etc...those guys are very very smart.
Ohhhh..be mindful....if they are out during the day...
Oh my! S(he) is just precious! I had one at my old house and he loved hot dogs :)
Hi Little One. Chicken is NOT on the menu!
Love the peek-around shot.

Racoons are so adorable with their cute little paws. One of my cousins had one as a pet when I was small, I loved it. Great pics. Take Care, Carrie
I can say she is cute because she is in the picture and I don't have to deal with her! I hope she isn't making a mess!
How cute ~ I do hope that you get to see the babies and that she stays out of your chicken coop!
SO.STINKIN.CUTE!!! We have them around my house like crazy, but I've never been able to photograph them. Great pics!

OMG...now you are charming Racoons?? What can't you do?????
See you soon!
Oh how wonderful! I hear they can be pesky but we don't have them in Australia so I just go on cuteness :)

Oh my goodness so cute....love your photos of her!!! LOve them...she is definitely far cuter than the possum I saw in our backyard!!!

Charming.
So so cute, but can be little terrors! Wonderful photo.
So cute!!
Greetings from Austria!
