Seeing as we now have a gorgeous washed wood table, I wanted to share some photos of washed wood I had been saving in my inspiration files.
Have a fabulous weekend mes amies - I am looking forward to a wedding on one of our local islands with my handsome husband and #4 on Saturday and then the return of my loves 1-3 on Sunday!

Have a nice weekend,

I do love this look! We called it scrubbed pine and I agree it goes wonderful with industrial pieces! Have a great weekend! :)
I have this issue of House Beautiful and drool over those pics. They have so inspired me. I had planned on painting my kitchen cabinets white, but am now considering sanding them down to give them a washed wood look instead. Rachel Ashwell has some nice washed wood images too.
Oh I just adore your new TEAK Table!
It is a PRIZE!
We splurged on TEAK last summer and I love it every time I pop outside!
And I just love that weathered look!
Enjoy!

I'm with ya!! Weathered wood all the way!! LOVE!
You just may have made me fall in love with all the wood in my house that my husband forbids me to paint(it's all polyurethaned) perhaps I could sand it all down, WOW. Never even thought of that before, what a gorgeous look! Thanks for the inspiration! ~Lili

Hi!
Those are some gorgeous rooms! They look so peaceful and coastal and foggy-fallish, if you know what I mean. Love the grey with the fluffy white rug and throws, so cozy!
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend. (I think of you every day when I look at my french flower pics hanging in my closet! I love them!)

Natural wood is my favourite. Adore room 3 (veranda) best. Liking also how the washed wood is offset by the painted wood ceilings. Very clever.
