on holidays~

#3.

He looks unhappy.

But oh no!  He is simply putting on his "I am far too cool for this" persona.  We had a great time traveling here, especially our dinner, which ended with my all time favorite - FRENCH SILK PIE at Bakers Square in my home town~  I'm pretty sure it is now his favorite too.

On another note, my dad had mentioned that we had an appointment this morning at 8:30 am. I will admit, I was nervous.  I was worried that it was something bad, health related, scary.  So imagine my surprise when we arrived for my MASSAGE!  Honestly, best. dad. ever.

My husband is a huge fan of Bakers Square...he was a busboy there in the early-mid 80s LOL!

Me...no Bakers Square in St. Louis, but we had a restaurant called Tippins that also claimed to make the best French Silk pie in the world!

Enjoy the reunion and time with your family!

Blessings,
Valerie

Kids are funny aren't they. Love this and silk pie too! Love it that your Dad had that planned for you. He is now perfect in my book. You realize that you have ruined the rest of our Dad perceptions...ha ha ha! Hope it was wonderful and perfect.
