I was at the market on Saturday and the flower vendors seem to be having the same luck with their peonies as there are BUCKETS of them and they are gorgeous!
If I can't have the sunshine at least I can have loads of cut flowers in the house and pretend that summer is actually here...

I had my profusion of peonies bloom weeks ago and I was so sad to see them go, they bloomed early this year and they truly are the most beautiful flower. Beautiful photos! Much love Xo

Our peonies hit the road about two weeks ago, so I am enjoying the memory via your images. The thing I like best about peonies is that they aren't demanding at all ~ I literally do NOTHING for them and yet, they GIVE me so much after those long, cold winters {which I know that YOU know all about} :)

mine are doing really well, but some are just rotting on the stem from all this rotten rain. My new two tone plant didn't care for this weather at all. Maybe next year.
