a garden party

This summer will be the year that I throw a fabulous garden party, I just know it!  I am dying to put some of the ideas I have been collecting over the years to use and this property is the perfect place to entertain friends and family.  It also inspires me to really get the gardens cleaned up, filled up, and looking great.  Maybe I will host a small *practice* party for #4's birthday in May...

Oh what fun! I have only once been to a garden party and it was delightful! Keep us up on the planning- perhaps we can put on our starw hats and pretend we are with you.

I love nothing more! We have a big garden party on the nearest saturday to the summer solstice in June every year. In thirteen years we've only missed one which was two years ago as no.4 was so tiny and I couldn't face it. And last year was a wash-out for the first time ever. I feel a special one coming on this year!

Although our garden is a bit more of a wilderness than yours is! It ends up more like a mini-festival than a chic garden party!

I can't wait to see what you do!
