preparations and packing

It is late.  Later than I usually stay up.  Quite a bit later actually.  But there were things to work on, things to finish up, things to pack.

I feel pretty on top of it right now.  Maybe that is the utter exhaustion after a really long, hot day in the kitchen.  I won't lament how gorgeous it was outside, or how much I wanted to be working on linen lovelies on my beautiful outdoor bed.  No, I am feeling good, and pleased with how much I finished today.

I promise that my post after the weekend will be filled with photos that will make you green with envy.  I am quite confident that it will also be filled with wonderful, fabulous, marvelous stories of what a magnificent weekend it was.  However, for now, you may have a sneak peek at what I was working on for the trip...

Have a glorious weekend lovelies - I know I will!
xo

Hi. My two daughters and I met you at the Barn House today. We asked about your wonderful necklace. My girls were the ones buying the tutus! I love your blog and visited your etsy shop too. I think I need one of your aprons you have listed. Was wondering if you are going to have any necklaces available to purchase soon? Also wondering where you got the apron you were wearing today at the Barn House - I'm full of questions aren't I.
Thanks! Leigh Anne
Wanted to share my blog with you too - www.yourhomebasedmom.com

Can I just say that I am so blessed to have met you, Kim? That through a serendipitous choice to go to the Sand Point Market, we crossed each other's paths and now get to share so many wonderful experiences like the BarnHouse show this weekend.... I am so grateful for people like you in my life. Your sweetness and generosity touch my heart. (And your cookies, well, they were superb!)

PS: LOVE your perfume, darling. ;0)
