apple sauce on a blustery day

I can't believe how hard the rain was coming down earlier today. It was incredibly windy and cold, and when handsome husband came in from feeding the horse, he brought with him some gorgeous apples from our trees.

With the fire going, it seemed like the perfect day to make apple sauce.

The smell of the warm apples and cinnamon filled the kitchen, and I immediately felt warmer~

That looks really good. Can you share the recipe? I have a ton of apples that I should do something with.

My favorite memory of fall is when my mom would make applesauce. The whole house would smell so cozy.

I'm available Mondays, Thursdays after 10am and any other day past 1pm.

Whatever works best for you.

Thanks so much for all your help!

There is nothing better than the smell of applesauce cooking on the stove or in the crock pot, it sure brings back memories. Stay warm. Florence

That looks yummy and cozy! I made applesauce last week, but it was the traditional way (cook apples down on stove then push through a ricer.) Could you share your recipe??
p.s. odd but true, I don't like store bought applesauce, but LOVE homemade.
