the work of the fabulous Atlanta Bartlett

Inspiration is a big part of what drives me. I am always thrilled to find someone who's work makes my heart skip a beat. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder, and for me, each day the thing that makes me pause changes.

One thing that doesn't change for me is my admiration of the work of Atlanta Bartlett. What I wouldn't give to work with talent like that. She has such an incredible eye for beauty, and her work reminds me of a simpler time.

Couldn't you just sink into some of these photos? I find them absolutely delicious~

Too funny, Kim. I have all those photos saved on my computer, and had no idea they were all from the same designer! Thanks for sharing...I love each and every one of them! I so need a vintage Airstream! ~mary~

Quite right! I love that airstream too. Spent the first year+ of my life in one.

I too love Atlanta's style. It's so chic in an offhand manner and soothing. Thanks for sharing it with us.

BTW: My birth surname was Bartlett. Wish I had inherited that great talent!

Oh how I wish I could have that look, I just have to clear things out and start over. I love that look, maybe it can eventually begin to make me motivated to get rid of some of the things I really do not need so that I can accomplish the final outcome. Florence

I agree with you. There is such an athmosphere in all her interiors. She really has the gift.

The first, followed by the next two are similar to my ideal. Her details including the mirror and the soft arrangement on the first shelf are astute.

I love comfort that isn't usurped by elegance. She has a touch that in unpretentious yet excels in a world that people try to hard to impress in.

If you can identify those chairs in the first photograph, I would be indebted to you, x.

oooooo, she's one of my all-time faves. I get the white/simple life envy thing when I look at her stuff too much. It's fresh and lovely, lovely.

Hmmmm...reminds me of someone I know...some frenchie princess who wants to hi-tail it outta Dodge when she crosses the big mid-life hump. Your work makes me feel like I feel when I look at Atlanta's. I feel calm and inspired.
Can't wait to see you!
