MIA

Dearest dears~
I am so sorry to have been a bit out of the loop these past few days.  After a fabulous weekend away (which I will be posting about this week) I began my week yesterday morning with a call from #2's school saying he had taken a hit to the head.  It was much worse than first thought, although now we are home and he seems to be doing well.  However, between the bonk on the head and this very moment there are about 36 hours of ambulance rides, massive vomitting, complete loss of memory (memory of one's mother included...) and a transfer from our local hospital to the pacific northwest's only level 1 trauma center, thankfully located here in Seattle. After a night at Harborview, we are home in our own beds this evening and thankful that he is back with us, mentally that is (he never left us physically!).  I will post the story of the entire event soon as well.
I hope you are having a lovely week and can't wait to catch up soon~
xo

Oh my. I too have been a bit absent of late and I'm doing my rounds, calling in to see how everyone is doing, and oh my, so sorry to hear of the trauma. You must have been worried sick. Wonderful news that all is well and I do hope he's on the mend now, poor lamb.
Big hugs to you all. C x
