my vintage filled morning

{How fabulous are these little antique toys?}

{As I have a Riley, I thought this was darling}

{It took everything I had not to buy this baby brownie...}

{These were used to stamp fabric!}

How lovely is it to wake up to sunshine, and know that your morning will be filled with antiques and vintage treasures?  I am not sure I could find something else that could have me so eager to get out of my warm bed at 6 am to grab my coffee before heading out into that glorious spring morning.

This was my first time at the Monroe Antique Show and Sale, located in Monroe, Washington. It was held on the Evergreen Fair Grounds which I visit every August to see all of the farm animals with the boys at the state fair.

As you can see above, there were so many marvelous finds and it took everything I had not to buy more than I did!

I did find a few fabulous things to bring home~

I am excited to use this little bucket this summer for napkins when we eat outside.  I am going to attach the ruler to the wall and then mark our boys' growth on it so that I can keep it always~

Isn't this a lovely little tea cup?  I adore the blue!

Thank you so very much to the vendors listed below for letting me shoot photos of their divine booths~  They were all so gracious and kind and I really truly appreciate it!

Oh my gosh - that looks like heaven to me! Great finds. I love your photos too. I get so nervous taking pictures in public places that they usually don't turn out very well...I definitely need to work on that :).

I'm glad you had a great day!

Oh my girdle!! I would have went c-r-a-z-y!! I love the buttons, the stamps, the scale.... My love laughs at me I go on cleaning binges to clean out our home to get rid of things so I can bring someone's stuff in!!!

Before I answer your question you asked on my post about the insulators. First I hope there are no collectors reading this! I simply purchased the few I have because I liked them not realizing what they were and are collectable. I am going to put the ones I have in different areas in our back yard. I have a rusty simple bottle holder I'm wondering if the insulators would stay on- I'm going to give it a try.

I heard some peeps have flip them over and made hanging votives out of them, using wires.

When we entertain I will put battery operated votives inside of them. I thought that would be neat throughout the backyard.

Oh dear with that idea I hope I find more 7 isn't going to cut it. lol...

Enjoy! xoxo

What wonderful items you saw...that old Brownie camera took me back to my childhood...my parents had one of those!! And I love what you bought!!!

I also thought it was so good of you to mention the vendors (and their store locations!) who allowed you to photograph their wares. A great angel policy!!!
