Afternoon visitor

One thing about living on our little farm that we love is having tiny visitors show up unannounced.  Today, we found this little fellow out by the pond.  We picked him up and put him in a bin to take a few photos, then put him back in the tall grass for shelter.

While releasing him, we decided it was time to say adieu to our little frog, who has been living on the kitchen counter for a couple of weeks now.  He too was released near the pond, although not too close as I do believe Koi will eat frogs if given the chance...

"That looks REALLY cool!" Direct quote from Race, my nine year old. We have some pretty big green lizards in our flower beds and a lot of toads, bunnies, racoons and possuums, but no farm! Super fun pictures. How did you keep the frog alive inside for so long? I so wish we had a farm!! :) KIM
