Birthday spent at the zoo

What a lovely, sunny, glorious day spent with the sweetest little man.  

Finn Henry was very excited when he heard that our day would be spent at the zoo~

The line to get in was a long one, but he was a trooper, waiting patiently...

First things first - we had to study the map and plot our course!

Then, a filling lunch to give us the energy we would need to walk the entire zoo.

There were so many animals to see - the elephants, the giraffes, the zebras, the monkeys and apes, the tapirs, the penquins, the lions, the tigers...

Thankfully he was wearing his trusty sun hat as it was a bright one out there!

Look Mommy - I see a hippopotamus!

He was pretty happy that he found an elephant just-his-size!

Just like the brothers before him, the Komodo Dragon was one of his favorites!

Wasn't he excited to see that there was a sculpture that he could ride just outside...

Just as we approached the exit, we saw that someone didn't want us to leave...

We had such a nice time, especially as the weather was beautiful!  

Time for cupcakes and ice cream~
