This is what I wait for all year long...

I went outside today to take photos of what is currently in bloom.  I guess I hadn't realized how much was actually blooming!  I absolutely {love} this time of year in the gardens~

Three of my favorites~

Some of my collection of sedums~

Tulips~

And various other blooms~

Eventual edibles~

And a whole lot of these~

Lily-of-the-Valley, Forget-me-nots and Lilacs! The very breath of Spring, isn't it? I share your joy.

Gorgeous shots - love the lilacs and forget-me-nots. I cannot believe how much is in bloom on the west coast right now compared to the east coast. Beautiful Monday my friend.

I love lily of the valley. I had to transplant some from my mother's home years ago to mine. It doesn't take long for them to flourish! I love lilacs, too. All your flowers are pretty.

What delicious photos! They made my evening. Lilacs and lily-of-the-valley always send me straight back to childhood memories. I just can't resist them.
Best,

Thanks for stopping by today.

Your blog is *SO* beautiful. Your images are captivating. I see we do have many of the same flowers blooming. But somehow they look more ethereal, fragile and fantastic in your post. I can almost smell the lilacs.....

I too wait for this season **ALL** year. I am a native Seattlite, so I should be used to this 6 months of pre-summer weather.... but I guess not.

I love gardening all the way around, the digging, the antication, and the sweet scent of patience and perseverance.
