spring flowers

Lately, we have had some interesting weather.  We have had really heavy rain through the night, and then the sunshine will appear during the day to keep us believing that Spring really is coming.  Today, my favorite market opens - a market that is closed during the winter months.  Yet another hint that warmer weather and more sunshine is on the way.  That being said, I can't begin to tell you how much having flowers in the house lifts my winter spirits. Yesterday, I  had to go find some flowers - scarce as they may be right now - to fill my favorite vase on my counter.  It gave me such a sense of joy to arrange them and I love being able to look at them every time I am working in the kitchen~
